You will be accountable for the financial and operational performance of the restaurant. Full-time kitchen Manager position with benefits, great pay, and working with great people!

Reports to: General Manager Cracked Eggery is looking for a highly skilled kitchen manager to lead our back of house operations. The Kitchen Manager will be directly responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Make employment and termination decisions including interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining kitchen personnel as appropriate.
  • Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures and oversee training of new kitchen employees.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

  • Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Oversee the training of kitchen personnel in safe operation of all kitchen equipment and utensils.

Cracked Eggery is looking for an energetic Assistant General Manager (AGM). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As the AGM, you will be the GM’s right-hand. You will eventually know, and be able to perform, all the tasks of the GM making it easy for you to step into that role when needed. The AGM is the primary personnel manager and is responsible for leading and supporting all staff in maintaining a professional environment that will attract, motivate, and retain top quality people who share our core values. The AGM is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing development for all FOH staff. The AGM will work closely with the Kitchen Manager for BOH staffing/personnel needs.  Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Assist with financial forecasting (P&L, Sales, Budgets, etc.).
  • Assist the General Manager with Overall Restaurant operations.
  • Ensure policies are upheld and report concerns to the General Manager.
  • Train, coach and utilize corrective action when necessary.
  • Will run shifts to assist the GM and also assist the kitchen.
  • Establish and build community relations.
  • Lead and develop the hourly team.
  • Able to work in unity with other members of the supervisory team.

Full-time kitchen Manager position with benefits, great pay, and working with great people! Reports to: General Manager Cracked Eggery is looking for a highly skilled kitchen manager to lead our back of house operations. The Kitchen Manager will be directly responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness. ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Make employment and termination decisions including interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining kitchen personnel as appropriate.
  • Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures and oversee training of new kitchen employees.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
  • Work with restaurant managers to plan and price menu items. Establish portion sizes and prepare standard recipe cards for all new menu items.
  • Ensure that all products are ordered according to predetermined product specifications and received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures.
  • Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
  • Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Oversee the training of kitchen personnel in safe operation of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Responsible for training kitchen personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment and food storage areas.
  • Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
  • Provide safety training in first aid, CPR, lifting and carrying objects and handling hazardous materials.
  REQUIREMENTS:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests.
  • Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef.
  • Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of recipes.
  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Conflict management abilities.
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Flexibility to work during mornings and weekends.
  • Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
